FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit. Because merging happens on your device, the practical limit is your browser's memory — dozens of typical documents or a few hundred megabytes total work well on a modern computer.

Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Pages are copied directly from the original files, so text, vector graphics and images keep their original quality and text remains searchable.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs can't be rewritten in the browser. Open the file in a PDF reader, remove the password (or print it to a new PDF), then add it here.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

Page content, links and annotations are kept. Document-level extras such as each file's outline (bookmarks) are not combined, and interactive form fields may not keep working.

Is it safe to merge confidential documents here?

Yes. The merge runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
