How it works

How to use Bulk Barcode Generator

  1. Paste one value per line, or upload a CSV of your products exported from Excel, Shopify or your inventory system.

  2. Choose the barcode type and, for a CSV, the value column plus optional product name and price columns for the labels.

  3. Adjust bar width, height, colours and whether the digits are printed under the bars.

  4. Download a ZIP of PNG or SVG files, or a PDF label sheet with each barcode, name and price ready to print and stick.

Why use it

Why use our Bulk Barcode Generator tool

Retail and warehouse formats

EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, ITF-14, Code 128 and Code 39 — the same engine as our single barcode generator.

Check digits for every row

Give EAN, UPC or ITF-14 numbers without the check digit and it is calculated; include it and it is verified. Rows with a wrong check digit or length are listed and skipped.

Product labels with name and price

Print the product name and price under each barcode on A4 or US Letter label stock — Avery 5160-style 3×10, A4 3×8, A4 4×10 or a custom grid.

ZIP of named image files

Each PNG or SVG is named from a column such as the SKU, with unsafe characters removed and duplicates numbered.

Fast and private

Thousands of barcodes are drawn in your browser with a progress bar and cancel button. Your product list is never uploaded.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I make barcodes from an Excel spreadsheet?

Yes. In Excel or Google Sheets choose File → Save as / Download → CSV, then upload the file here. Pick the column with the barcode numbers and, if you like, the name and price columns to print on each label.

What happens to rows with an invalid number?

Each row is checked for the selected format — allowed characters, length and the GS1 check digit. Problem rows are listed with their line number and the reason, and the rest of the batch is generated normally.

Do I need to include the check digit?

No. For EAN-13 enter 12 digits, for UPC-A 11, for EAN-8 7 and for ITF-14 13, and the check digit is added. If you include it, we verify it and flag mistakes such as a typo in the number.

Will the labels fit Avery 5160 sheets?

The “Letter · 3 × 10” layout matches the 2⅝ × 1 inch, 30-per-sheet format used by Avery 5160, 8160 and compatible labels. Print at 100% (“Actual size”) and do a test print on plain paper first.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

SVG is vector, so it stays perfectly sharp in design and label software at any size. PNG works everywhere; choose 3× or 4× resolution for print. The PDF label sheet uses high-resolution images automatically.

Is there a limit?

Up to 5,000 rows per batch, which keeps memory use safe on phones. Split larger catalogues into several files.
