Will JPG to PNG make my photo better quality?
No — it keeps the quality exactly as it is now. It stops further loss when you edit and re-save, but it can't restore lost detail.
Why is the PNG bigger than the JPG?
PNG stores every pixel without lossy compression, so photos become several times larger. That's normal.
Does converting make the background transparent?
No. A JPG has no transparency, so the PNG has the same solid background. Use a background remover for cut-outs.
Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit; very large photos just take a moment longer on older phones.
