How it works

How to use Signature Resize 20 to 50 KB

  1. Upload a clear photo of your signature on white paper.

  2. The range starts at 20–50 KB with a 350 × 100 px box — change either if your form says so.

  3. Watch the live preview; the file size and pixel size update as you adjust.

  4. Download the JPG once it shows inside the 20–50 KB range.

Why use it

Why use our Signature Resize 20 to 50 KB tool

Grows small files to 20 KB

A 20 KB minimum is hard to reach with a small signature. Quality is raised to the maximum first, then a harmless JPEG comment fills the gap.

Stays under 50 KB

For big pixel sizes the tool lowers quality just enough to fit under 50 KB, keeping strokes sharp.

Readable strokes

Ink darkening makes thin ballpoint lines bolder so they survive compression and small previews.

Rotate sideways shots

Shot your signature sideways? Rotate it in 90° steps before resizing.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How can a signature be 20 KB if it's mostly white?

Plain white areas compress to almost nothing, so most signatures are naturally under 20 KB. To meet the minimum we use the highest quality and, if still needed, add padding that image viewers ignore.

Will padding cause my form to reject the file?

The file remains a standard JPG that opens everywhere. Padding is stored as a JPEG comment, a normal part of the format.

Which pixel size should I choose?

Use the size your form names. If it only gives a KB range, 350 × 100 or 300 × 80 px usually looks good — but check your form's instructions.

Does it work with a phone photo?

Yes. Phone photos, scans and screenshots all work. Good daylight and a dark pen give the cleanest result.
