How it works

How to use Watermark Image

  1. Drop the photos you want to protect.

  2. Type your watermark text or upload a logo (a transparent PNG works best).

  3. Choose a position or tile it across the image, then tune size, opacity and rotation in the live preview.

  4. Download every watermarked photo, or all of them as a .zip.

Why use it

Why use our Watermark Image tool

Text or logo

Use a copyright line, your website or a transparent logo, with colour, bold and drop-shadow options.

Nine positions or tiled

Pin the mark to any corner, edge or the centre — or repeat it across the whole photo to deter theft.

Live preview

Every change is drawn instantly on your photo so you can get placement and opacity just right.

Consistent batch output

Sizes are relative to each photo's width, so the watermark looks the same on every image in the batch.

Your photos stay yours

Watermarking happens on your device. Originals are never uploaded anywhere.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What opacity should a watermark have?

40–60% is a good balance: clearly visible without ruining the photo. For maximum protection, use the tiled mode at 20–35% opacity.

Can I add my logo as a watermark?

Yes. Switch to Logo image and upload your logo. PNGs with transparent backgrounds give the cleanest result.

Will the watermark be the same size on all photos?

It scales with each photo's width, so it takes up the same share of every image whether it's a 1000 px or a 6000 px photo.

Can a watermark be removed?

A small corner watermark can be cropped out. A tiled, rotated watermark across the whole image is much harder to remove, which is why stock photo sites use it.

Does it reduce photo quality?

Photos are saved at full resolution. Choose PNG for lossless output, or JPG/WebP with a high quality setting for smaller files.
