Why use it

Why use our Case Converter tool

11 case styles

UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title, Sentence, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, aLtErNaTiNg and iNVERSE.

Smart Title Case

Keeps short words like “of”, “the” and “and” lowercase unless they start or end the title — the way editors expect.

Acronym-aware

Leaves acronyms such as NASA or HTML intact, and splits identifiers like XMLHttpRequest into proper words.

Unicode-safe

Handles accented letters, Greek, Cyrillic and emoji correctly, so “ÉCOLE” becomes “école”, not garbage.

Private by design

Conversion happens on your device as you type. Nothing is uploaded or stored.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalises the main words of a heading (“The Lord of the Rings”). Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence, plus acronyms, like normal prose.

Which words stay lowercase in Title Case?

Articles, short conjunctions and prepositions such as a, an, the, and, but, or, of, in, on, to and with — unless they are the first or last word, or follow a colon. You can turn this off to capitalise every word.

How are camelCase and snake_case generated from normal text?

The text is split into words on spaces, punctuation, underscores, hyphens and case changes, then re-joined. “user ID number” becomes userIdNumber in camelCase and user_id_number in snake_case. Each line is converted separately.

Will it change my acronyms?

For Title and Sentence case, all-caps words like NASA or API are kept as they are by default. If your whole text is in capitals, it is treated as shouting and converted normally.

Is there a limit on text length?

No fixed limit. Because conversion runs locally, you can paste long documents or whole lists of variable names and convert them instantly.
